Allow me a few seconds of gloating: Ha, I don't have that antivirus crap on my system cause I use linux :).
Okay, now I'm your concerned friend again -- if you don't use any software on your computer that absolutely NEEDS Windows to run, why don't you give Linux a try by either doing a dual boot on your pc alongside your Windows OS or by using the Wubi installer that will install Ubuntu Linux on your computer like a Windows program to give it a test drive.
